Karolis Janulis
Karolis Janulis is an artist from Lithuania. His passion for photography and the views from above has brought him to aerial photography. In 2015 he acquired his first drone and started implementing his aerial photography ideas into reality by capturing and sharing moments in this still very unusual perspective at that time.
It was soon noticed and featured in various worldwide press and photography publications. In 2016 photography “Summer camp” won 3rd place at the international Dronestagram aerial photography awards. Another photography “Tree of life” has been shortlisted in the Sony World Photography Awards 2016 (People category).
Since then the artist has issued a personal aerial photography book “to be a bird in Lithuania", held several personal and group photography exhibitions in different countries, started cooperating with world-known premium photography agencies, and implemented many different aerial photography projects including the ones which literally has put Karolis photography on the walls. His art is being displayed in the international Vilnius airport spaces, newly designed Gjensidige office, and in many more business and private spaces by giving a new perspective to the world.
