This striking still life captures the elegance of yellow kangaroo paw flowers in a simple glass vase, set against a soothing blue background. The arrangement is complemented by a few scattered strawberries, a yellow cup, a white teapot, and a stack of art books, creating a serene and inviting scene. Melanie's neighbours have kangaroo paw growing in their front garden and often leave a bunch on her doorstep. She loves that the flowers look like nature's version of fairy lights, which inspired this work.
