Our method

We are creating our prints using fine art also known as archival pigment and less commonly as ‘giclée’ printing method. Basically, we are using high-resolution artworks, archival papers, genuine 12 different color inks, and finally, top quality printers. When you combine all these parts together, you get very fine art prints.

Our papers

We source our papers from the leading paper manufacturers Hahnemühle and Ilford. The main paper we use is Enhanced Matte (200 gsm). We also have other paper types such Lustre (290-310 gsm), Smooth Pearl (310 gsm) and Photo Rag (308 gsm). These papers are specifically produced for fine art printing and are all archival paper, meaning the paper is acid-free and will keep its original colors a lifetime.

Enhanced Matte gives a smooth and clean finish, emphasizing different highlights and tones, creating a stunning artwork. 

Lustre finish gives a pear-looking texture, impressive color depth, and intense blacks.

Smooth Pearl provides classic pearl surface with considerable sparkle. Beautiful photographic results and one of the most popular inkjet paper in the world

Hahnemühle Photo Rag is a premium photographic paper that is made of 100% cotton rag, giving a natural white tone and excellent black saturation.

As mentioned, our main paper is Enhanced Matte. If you would like us to print on a paper different than Enhanced Matte, please contact us. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Our printers and inks

We use the latest Canon imagePROGRAF PRO, and Epson P20070 printers. These printers are fine art inkjet print machines that specialise in giclee printing. They are both regarded as one of the best and most efficient Inkjet printers in the commercial market. Our ink is pigment-based which ensures the print is a reproduction of the tone, temperature, and color from the original image. 

Our frames

Choosing the right frame for your artwork is important for the protection and care of it. To ensure the quality of your print over time, it is crucial to select archival options as they are acid-free and will protect your print in the best way. It is also recommended to choose either glass or perspex to assure the best physical protection of it.

Our frames are handmade with the highest levels of craftsmanship, using the best quality materials. They are created using a refined manufacturing process that ensures precision and perfect hand finishes. The wood is milled with simple clean lines and is presented with a satin finish. Frames have a square profile and measure 20mm (front face) & 23mm (depth from wall).

We use Acrylic Plexiglass, providing increased UV protection and less glare than float glass. It is a more premium and expensive material than regular glass. Acrylic Plexiglass is also way more secure during transportation and in general.

We are offering three different finishes for our frames:

• Black
• White
• Natural (Raw Oak)

All wood and paper are sourced sustainably from FSC-certified forests.

White Border

When you're choosing your print size and framing option, you can also add a white border to both framed and unframed prints. If 'White Border' is selected from the dropdown menu in the product page, this means the art print will have a self-white border (unprinted border) included in the overall measurements. The artwork will appear smaller if you choose this size.

Should you want your art print printed edge-to-edge (no white border look at all), then choose 'No' for white border. 

White border is quite popular and added for aesthetic purposes.
