The word Giclée is French for "sprayed ink". Today, the term is used to describe a sophisticated inkjet printmaking process which creates the highest quality fine art reproductions.
Three aspects are very important while creating premium quality prints. Professional grade papers, printers, and digital files.

A lot of research and development has gone into the various aspects and materials that make up a Giclée print.
The archival nature of the print varies according to the type of inks used, as well as the archival properties of your chosen paper selected and the conditions in which the print is displayed or stored. Current scientific opinion is that our papers and Giclée printing process will produce a print that lasts between 100 and 200 years in good conditions.
All our frames are handmade using the best quality materials by the highest levels of craftsmanship. The refined manufacturing process ensures precision and perfect hand finishes.
Frames have a square profile and measure 20mm (front face) & 23mm (depth from wall). We use Acrylic Plexiglass, providing increased UV protection and less glare than float glass. It is also way more secure during transportation and in general.
Prints will come without borders. If you want us to add a white border around them, please let us know when you checkout.
We will add 1″ to 2″ white border depending on the print size.
Adding a white border will not change the frame size. Size of the print will be minus the border.

For dusting, you should use a light microfibre cloth and gently wipe. If heavier stains, you can use methylated spirits on a microfibre cloth (small amount). Remember to never use paper towels or products that contain ammonia as this will damage the finish.
Your artwork should not be displayed under direct sunlight nor in high humid conditions. We highly recommend using cotton gloves when moving print as oils and dirt from your hands will transfer onto the paper and leave marks.
Lastly, the right framing is important for the best physical protection of the print. Glass or perspex is the ideal material, be also sure that the frame does not include any non-archival glue/acids as this can damage your print over time.
By being respectful of your artwork it will remain the same a lifetime.
Please email if you prefer a custom size, paper type etc. and we will do our best to accomodate your needs!
